Enthusiasm at the Traditional Mobiliar Kids Day

The traditional Mobiliar Kids Day has long been an integral part of the Airport Trophy and was once again a highlight of this year's event. Around 40 children enjoyed an exciting afternoon of handball, games and fun alongside Swiss national team players Tabea Schmid and Seraina Kuratli. Both athletes are among the key performers and fan favourites of the Swiss Women's National Team and took plenty of time to engage with the young participants.

Together with the coaching staff, Tabea Schmid and Seraina Kuratli guided the children through a variety of handball drills and activities. Despite the hot summer temperatures, the kids showed great enthusiasm and tackled every station with energy and motivation. The focus was on developing basic handball skills, coordination and, above all, enjoying the game. Meeting and interacting with the two national team stars made the afternoon a memorable experience for many of the participants.

Stefan Paraschivescu, Head of the Mobiliar Kids Day, said:

"The Mobiliar Kids Day is all about inspiring children through the sport of handball. It is wonderful to see their enthusiasm and commitment, and to witness how much they enjoy spending time with our national team players. Experiences like these are what make this event so special year after year."

Special thanks go to Mobiliar, whose longstanding commitment as the Airport Trophy's main sponsor makes the event possible and demonstrates its continued support for handball and youth development. We would also like to thank General Agent Max Suter, who attended the Mobiliar Kids Day in person and supported the organising team throughout the event.
