Germany gets their first win against France

Germany showed a solid performance against France and secured the first points with a score of 32:28.

Despite the loss against Spain on Friday, the German coach had been satisfied with his players' performance. The team aimed to confirm their good performance in the game against France.

The game started explosively with a total of 10 goals in the first 6 minutes, showcasing offensive strategies. David Moré led Germany with 3 quick goals, while Keyliane Traore scored from the distance for France. The game remained tight until the 15th minute, with France narrowly leading 10:9. However, Germany intensified its defense and frequently found opportunities in attack, often finishing through the wings. Even with a red card, they did not falter, allowing them to lead 19:15 at halftime.

In the second half, Germany extended its lead further, while France at times struggled with two players less on the field. Germany capitalized on various turnovers and increased their lead to 22:14. Siemer continued his strong performance, scoring another goal to make it 26:17 in the 45th minute. Despite a late resurgence from France, Germany maintained control and secured a 32:28 victory.

With this win, Germany showed why they were considered favorites for this year's Airport Trophy. The final day will feature a match against the Swiss home team, who have yet to earn any points.
